IronSpire Wins Prestigious Gold Vision Award From Constructech Magazine for Third Straight Year

Portland, OR - Nvember 5, 2002 IronSpire, Inc., a leading provider of online collaboration solutions for the construction industry, announced today the company has received the Gold Vision Enabler Award from Constructech magazine, given annually to innovative technology providers. It is the third year in a row the company has received the gold award, the highest level bestowed. Allied Construction, Inc., ( www.altmanco.com), a Pennsylvania contractor, received the companion Gold Vision Award for its use of IronSpire PrimeSite online collaboration system. Allied has implemented PrimeSite as a privately-labeled extension of its own website, offering a branded online area for each construction project that can be accessed directly from within Allied’s own website.

“This has provided a very effective way for us to differentiate ourselves from the competition, and further strengthen our relationships with clients, design professionals, subs and suppliers,” said Brett Altman, president of Allied. “We were also able to customize forms and reports in PrimeSite to match company standards, making our online sites both look, and work, in a way that reflects Allied’s unique style and practices.”

IronSpire also won a Gold Vision Enabler Award in 2000 for its work with Anderson Construction of Portland, Oregon, and in 2001 for work with D.L. Withers of Phoenix, Arizona.

“The customization capabilities of PrimeSite are unique in the market,” said Robert Ellis, founder and CEO of IronSpire. “It enables businesses such as Allied to build their own brand, and to adapt the system in specific ways that offer competitive advantages.”

Earlier this year, PrimeSite became the first online collaboration solution to support Microsoft’s .NET framework as part of its construction application platform. The company anticipates subsequent announcements as it continues to pioneer the use of .NET to offer seamless exchange of data between applications and systems across construction supply chains.
