IronSpire Leverages Microsoft .NET to Enhance Information Access and Report Creation in JobSite 3.0

Portland, OR - August 12, 2002 IronSpire Inc., a leading provider of online collaboration solutions for the construction industry, today announced the release of IronSpire JobSite 3.0, leveraging Microsoft's .NET platform to provide enhanced management reporting and data sharing capability.  Continuing the company's commitment to streamlining information flows, JobSite 3.0 enables the creation of presentation-quality reports that require nothing more than a web browser.   Reports can show detailed information and history regarding a specific item such as an RFI or change order, or overview information listing all instances of an item along with metrics such as "Average days open" and "Total number of items."

"JobSite 3.0 takes raw business information and turns it into useful business intelligence that can be reviewed and interpreted quickly," said Robert Ellis, founder and CEO of IronSpire. "The power of .NET is that we were able to provide this richer collaborative environment with no additional requirement on users. Our construction teams continue to simply access everything through their web browser."

Utilizing Crystal Reports® for Visual Studio® .NET and IronSpire's X-tensible Document Management, JobSite 3.0 delivers rapid customization of both the data captured and the information displayed for each project team. Crystal Reports then provides gateways to standard file formats such as HTML, .PDF, or Excel, in addition to data formatting and calculations.

"Our ability to offer access to critical information across each construction supply chain has really expanded through support of the .NET framework," Ellis, continued. "This is the first of many enhancements to Jobsite's reporting capability that will be implemented in the coming months."
