IronSpire JobSiteT 2.0 Brings Collaboration and Customization to Enterprise-Level Construction Management

Portland, Oregon - October 15, 2001 - IronSpire, Inc., a supplier of Web-based collaboration solutions for the construction industry, today announced the general availability of JobSite 2.0, the latest version of the company's online platform for managing communications and information. JobSite 2.0 is a next-generation system that builds on the product's collaboration capabilities for individual projects to offer developers and general contractors the ability to optimize control, communications and information across multiple projects, companies, and departments.

"JobSite 2.0 is unique in providing contractors a powerful ability to coordinate multiple projects without requiring changes in the way they work," said Robert Ellis, IronSpire CEO. "It's been designed to be compatible with systems currently in use, such as accounting software, and to adapt to the processes that individual companies have established."

More Powerful Project Management Features
New project management features in JobSite 2.0 provide personalization and flexibility:

Cross-project overview highlights what's new
.
MySite,
defined and accessed only by each individual user, provides a cross-project view of activity in areas important to the user. Each user can also store and organize documents and information of personal interest so that they are readily and easily accessible.

Real-time alerts increase team effectiveness.
Users can sign up for email alerts regarding activity on an individual document such as a change order or RFI. Email notifications are sent depending on a selected option such as "Modified, "Viewed," or "Published." Competing solutions offer this only on a folder level.

View log completes project history.
View User History provides an at-a-glance chronology of users who performed any activity on an individual document. This is especially powerful in folders that contain rapidly changing and developing information, such as a RFI folder.

Advanced workflow expands routing.
Defined routings quickly and easily define the sequence of individuals on a routing schedule for a review of specific documents or communication.

Patent-pending Technology
JobSite 2.0 includes two patent-pending, new technologies that enable the company's XML-supported platform to facilitate future data-level integration with enterprise systems such as accounting, estimating, and project management applications. An X-tensible data schema allows for user-defined objects to be added to IronSpire's web enabled object-oriented database.  X-tensible documents allow for user-defined views to be created for the capture and display of these new data objects.  Customization can be done continuously as team or company requirements expand.

Price and Availability
IronSpire JobSite  2.0 is available immediately, directly through IronSpire or through resellers.    Licenses for JobSite 2.0 are offered on a monthly project basis or as annual enterprise licenses. Microsoft Internet Explorer and an Internet connection are the only system requirements.
