IronSpire Releases Web Services Integration with Intuit Master Builder Latest .NET deliverable utilizes XML to interface IronSpire’s project collaboration environments directly with the Master Builder API September
XX, 2003 – Portland, Oregon – IronSpire®, Inc. a leading provider
of web-based collaboration solutions for construction and supply chain
automation, today announced xSync™ for directly integrating with Intuit® Master
Builder™; adding to IronSpire’s range of .NET framework-based solutions, and
advancing their best-of-breed strategy in the project data management segment.
As
a web service in the .NET framework, xSync exchanges data between IronSpire
project collaboration web sites and the Master Builder API; allowing full
synchronization of dynamic project data throughout the entire construction
project lifecycle. Available immediately, the xSync module is especially
important for coordinating project workflows and automating processes for time
sensitive information such as change orders and requests for information
(RFI’s).
“Our
customers have an investment in their legacy systems today, and any
construction project collaboration environment should work with what they
already have,” according to Mary McDougall, IronSpire’s COO. “Contractors
typically don’t have large IT departments, and they shouldn’t be expected to
undertake expensive integration projects or implement some sort of new
middleware just to get their applications to share project data with their
collaboration environment. Our philosophy is to make this as easy-to-implement
and easy-to-use as possible. That’s why xSync is designed to handle all that
work, up-front, for our customers, simply as a plug-in to the IronSpire
solution.”
After
having become the first web-based project management collaboration provider to
adopt the .NET paradigm, IronSpire is continuing that strategy, with xSync as
the latest in the line of .NET-based solutions focused on simplifying the
sharing of project data between customers’ existing applications and
customer-branded IronSpire project sites.
“With
IronSpire solutions integrated with Intuit Master Builder, our customers are
better able to meet the unique needs of their always dynamic—and often
remote—operations,” said Carol Novello, vice president and general manager of
Intuit Construction Business Solutions. “We’re glad to have IronSpire as a part
of our Designed for Master Builder program. Linking the information flows
between Master Builder and IronSpire solves the problem of syncronizing budget
data such as change orders, and builds on our strategy of providing specialized
and complementary products that integrate with Master Builder.”
